The collections of the Sindecuse Museum of Dentistry include more than 15,000 historical products, tools and equipment dating mostly from the early 19th century to modern times reflecting the story of dentistry and related oral health topics in the United States and the Midwest, particularly Michigan.
Publications intended for dental professionals, dental education materials and models, Dental trade advertising and dental products for consumers, games, toys, photographs and artworks depicting dental professionals, dental offices and clinics, graduation photographs of University of Michigan Dental and Hygiene students make up the remaining 6,000 items in the collection.
